<p style='text-align: justify;'> The image is a copy from the same image of the Armenian artist Vardges Sureniants. Only the faces of the mother and the Child are slightly different from Sureniants' image. </p><p style='text-align: justify;'> The icon was ordered for the health resort named after Armenian Renaissance poet of the 10th century St. Grigor Narekatsi, who is known for his poem, "The Book of Lamentation", which has a spiritual significance for each Armenian. </p>
